Known to the allies of World War II as Polskie Siły Powietrzne, the Polish Air Force played a major role during the war, scoring countless victories and making up the largest non-British portion of the RAF. Among the aircraft used by the Poles was the Vickers Wellington, a bomber used primarily for night bombing and anti-submarine campaigns.
The airplane graphics on this shirt come from actual blueprints designed in the mid 1930's in Surrey, England. This shirt is dedicated to Captain Navigator Waclaw Lisiecki who fought courageously on board the Wellington during the conflicts of World War II.
