Handmade Wooden Lowicz Hen

This charming wooden decorative hen was handmade by folk artist Malgorzata Welc of Warsaw, Poland.  Malgorzata takes inspiration for this design from paper cut-outs ("wycinanki") from the Lowicz region of Poland. 

The hen approximately measures about 6"/ 15 cm (height) and 6.5"/ 16.5 cm (width) at the widest points. This statue is double sided.
